Description

Superb pair of candleholders, Louis XVI style, era 19th.

Representation of Bacchus being a child.

Manufacturing bronze with 2 patinas and Carrara marble, very finely chiseled by hand. The gilding and patina are in very good condition.

Richly decorated with foliage, beads and friezes.

Candleholders are perfectly stable.

Note, some small defect on the marble without gravity (see last photo).
