Description

Imposing fireplace andiron, monted in lamp, Rococo style. Second half of the 19th.

It's a unique creation that we have realized.

The andiron is a creation of the famous cabinetmaker and bronze-smelter Henry Dasson (1825-1896).

Manufacturing bronze. Gilding of original mercury, very good condition (some gaps and stains, without gravity).

The cherub, in bronze, is black patina.

Decoration openwork with vines branches, windings and acanthus leaves. No lack of decor.

A work of a rare delicacy and a very high quality manufacturing French.

The andiron is stamped (see last picture).

Switch and plug installed.

The lampshade, beige color, is new.
